The rental carpet machine at the grocery store is the worst thing that ever happened to a 1980s Copperfield ranch house. That's my opinion and I'll defend it. It puts down more water than it takes up, the soap never rinses out, and two weeks later the traffic lane between the kitchen and the den is darker than when you started.

Getting the old soap out
