Houston clay rides in on boots and lets go three steps inside the door, right on the carpet, and it's a different color than anything you'd find on a Cypress floor. Hockley has two kinds of homes and both of them fight it: brand-new houses in Jubilee, Dellrose, and Cypress Green that are still surrounded by active construction, and acreage properties out past the Grand Parkway where the driveway is dirt and the dog is outside all day.
We cover both, and the Hockley line is 936-213-0004.
New master plans and the dust that comes with them
A house in Jubilee is likely sitting a few hundred yards from a lot that's being graded right now. That fine dust gets into everything, and it settles at the base of the carpet pile where a vacuum can't reach. Builder-grade carpet on a thin pad shows it fast. Six months in, the upstairs hall looks a year old.
Our carbonated, soap-free clean lifts that dust out without soaking the pad, which is the part that matters on new carpet. It's dry inside an hour with nothing left in the fiber, and it stays clean far longer than a steam clean would out here, where the next load of dust is already on its way. Full process on the carpet cleaning page.
Acreage, clay, and well water
Out on the acreage side, the soil is the problem. Clay tracks in wet, dries in the fiber, and turns into a hard gray-orange crust in the traffic lane that a rental machine just smears around. We pre-treat those lanes and let the carbonation break the clay loose before the bonnet lifts it out. Most of it comes up. Ground-in clay that's been there for years may leave a shadow, and you'll hear that from the technician before we start. If it were my place, I'd have the traffic lanes done twice a year and the bedrooms once, and skip the rooms the dog isn't allowed in.
A lot of these properties are on well water, and hard well water plus detergent is why a steam clean out here often leaves carpet feeling crunchy. Our solution doesn't need much water and has no soap, so that isn't a factor.
Barn dogs and farm dogs come inside too. Urine that's reached the pad needs the live enzyme treatment, which does its work slowly, over the days that follow. Pet odor and stain removal explains it.
Rugs stay on your floor
Every rug gets cleaned in the home, on your floor, with the same low-moisture process. Nobody's rolling up a 9x12 and driving it to a shop. It's dry by the time we're gone.
Getting a van out here
Hockley is the far end of our territory, so we try to group Stone Creek Ranch and Bauer Landing stops together and we'll tell you honestly what day that lands on. Same-day is still possible when a van is already out on 290. Three rooms are $88; the other deals sit on the coupons page. Call 936-213-0004 or schedule online and mention the property type so we send the right setup.
