Klein houses are big. Memorial Northwest, Spring Creek Oaks, Northampton: these are established neighborhoods off Louetta and Spring Cypress where a normal house has four bedrooms, a game room, a media room, and a staircase, and nearly all of it is carpeted. When someone calls us from 77379 the job is rarely three rooms. It's usually the whole upstairs.
That changes how you should think about drying time. A steam-cleaned second floor in a Klein home can stay damp for most of a day, with the AC working against Gulf Coast humidity the whole time. Ours is dry top to bottom before the hour is up.
How the big jobs go
The technician walks every room with you first. On a house that's been lived in hard for twenty years there are always a few spots that won't come out, and you should hear that before we start. Then the lanes and spots get their pre-treatment, the carbonated solution goes on, and a rotary bonnet lifts the soil out. No soap, so no residue, and that is why the clean holds roughly four times longer. It's hypoallergenic too, and in a house where every kid's bedroom is carpet, that counts.
Stairs get done by hand. A staircase in Inverness Estates or Wimbledon Champions Estates is the most-walked carpet in the house and the edges never get vacuumed properly. We work them one tread at a time so the nosing and the corners are actually clean. If you only have the budget for one thing, do the stairs; they're the first thing anyone sees from the entry and the last thing anyone cleans. The rest is on the carpet cleaning page.
Game rooms, media rooms, and what lives in them
A game room carpet has absorbed a decade of spilled drinks, popcorn, and whatever the dog did during the last thunderstorm. Dark soda stains respond well to pre-treatment. Pet urine that has soaked into the pad is an enzyme job; the live treatment keeps eating at the source long after we've driven off. Where it has gone past the pad into the subfloor, though, cleaning is the wrong tool, and we'll say that plainly and point you toward a pad replacement. Pet odor and stain removal covers the rest. Sectionals and recliners in those rooms get the same low-moisture clean and are usable the same night, and the big wool rug under the dining table gets cleaned in place on your floor. Nothing leaves the house.
Pricing a whole house
The $88 three-room special covers the first three, and the technician will price the remaining rooms and stairs on site before any work starts. Add hardwood or tile downstairs while we're there: hardwood gets a gentle, pH-neutral clean that uses very little water and won't harm the finish, and tile grout gets buffed clean by machine.
Klein is a straight shot up Spring Cypress from our base, and a same-day slot usually works. Grab a time on the scheduler, or give 281-746-6055 a ring.
